A brief description of the proposed school regarding student capacity, reservation pattern, teaching staff, syllabus etc. to be adopted is stated below:

  • Student capacity: - Initially a class up to 5th standard with 20 students in each class is to be enrolled which makes the total capacity of student’s up to 200. Out of this a total of 50 seats would be reserved for the underprivileged or poor children, 25 seats for orphan/semi orphan children and another 25 seats for the monk and the nun kids. For the rest 100 seats all children, irrespective of family’s socio-economic status, would have the opportunity to enroll themselves as day scholars.
  • Teaching staff: - To start with a post of Principal / Head Master along with two teachers for each subject to be taught i.e. Tibetan, English, Mathematics, Science and Hindi is to be appointed. In addition to this, a post for physical health fitness is also kept under proposal.
  • Syllabus of School: - The standard of education shall strictly adhere to the prescribed syllabus under N.C.E.R.T. / according to the policy of Indian Govt. & UNESCO
  • School Rules & Regulations: - The steering committee of the Academy would have the sole authority to decide on the rules and regulations for proper functioning of the academy.
  • Academic objectives: - The academy aims at providing free basic education to the deprived and orphan children of the area. It aims at providing special attention for propagation of Tibetan language amongst the children, in order to preserve their cultural heritage. In the long run, it aims at developing children’s foundation/home for all round development of poor and orphan children’s as adopted children.
